Brothers and owners, Herb and Ned Golterman, announced the more than 75-year-old company sold to a newly formed Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). “This ensures the culture, vision, and values will not change,” said Herb Golterman.

This new AMC video features G&S Cinema Acoustics project at AMC Porter Ranch 9 in the Los Angeles area. The walls are Acousti-Suede in black on G&S Acousti-Panels (AP). The panels blend into the background during the show but provide much needed sound control.

The brand-new theater in Austin Texas has a full experience with many different types of auditoriums plus heated and rumbler seating. When you enter the Dolby theater the entrance has G&S suede black acoustical panels with the blue Dolby logo and lights. Inside all the theaters appears G&S suede horizon and black acoustical panels on the walls with the LED lighting for a complete look. Read more about the new theater here.
The Palms Theatre & IMAX, Waukee, Iowa
Completed Spring, 2019
The Palms is the largest of Fridley’s theaters. It features G&S acoustical panels with LED lighting in both the IMAX and XL Digital auditoriums. The blue LEDs make the suede acoustic panels glow for an amazing look. Each auditorium has a slightly different LED pattern. Read more about the new theater here.
AMC Staten Island, New York
Completed February, 2019
Staten Island’s first dine-in theater with an IMAX has G&S acoustical panels on all the many auditorium’s walls. The large IMAX theater has tan, black and a red stripe of suede fabric on the walls with matching large tan cushioned seats with red trim. The other theaters have a black suede fabric on the walls with black seats. Read more about the new theater here.

G&S manufactured Acoustical Panels wrapped with a black suede fabric and blue LED lights across the walls for the movie theater area. In the lobby and hall area G&S installed innovative stretch panels that show a movie preview and entry way structures with LED lighting which provide a dramatic look.
